The dominance of power electronics in modern power systems makes it difficult to study stability with sufficient accuracy given the available information, so it is necessary to enhance current frequency-based stability methods. The positive-mode damping (PMD) criterion is a recently powerful proposed frequency domain method to study the stability of multi-infeed VSCs grid-connected networks in the nodal admittance matrix form.
