The initiation of architectural education, especially in the courses associated with Design Studio, are often difficult scenarios to understand for students because they are presented as a fundamentally abstract process, far from the pre-established idea that is commonly held about professional practice. As teachers, we face the challenge of introducing students to a new disciplinary language and providing them with design, art and architecture universal tools that they will be able to apply with a more professional approach during the following training years.
