This study aims to determine whether the leisure travel consumption behavior of gay tourists reflects hedonistic tendencies, as seen through the lens of the French philosopher Michel Onfray. The methodology employed in this research is a qualitative-quantitative study, which combines theoretical and empirical investigations grounded in exploratory-descriptive research, incorporating elements of Queer Theory. It provides a concise bibliometric analysis of LGBTQIA+ tourism, drawing from dissertations, proceedings of the ANPTUR Seminar, and articles in the Journal of Homosexuality.
