The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of gender on procrastination. It was hypothesized that males will have a higher tendency to procrastinate than females and that a masculine gender role identity is more likely to be associated with procrastination than feminine and androgenous gender role identities. Subjects (N = 80) from a small liberal arts college identified their sex on a demographic survey, and completed the Lay\u27s (1986) Procrastination Scale and the Bern Sex Role Inventory.
