Prevalencia de la Papilomatosis Bovina en la unidad la Ceiba, del municipio Majibacoa (Original).

            The research was carried out in the Basic Unit of Cooperative Production Waldemar Díaz de la Rosa, Majibacoa, Las Tunas, in the La Ceiba unit. The objective of the work was to analyze the prevalence of Bovine Papillomatosis, in the La Ceiba unit during the months of January to September 2022. The characterization of the unit was carried out and it was determined that it was being affected by Bovine Papillomatosis, with epizootiological quadrant 86-141-23; In the work, statistical and bibliographic review research methods were used to obtain the data and perform the tabulation of the information. In the results of the investigation, it was determined that only the younger categories were affected (Calves with 38.7%, Añojos with 46%, Calves with 3% and Heifers with 12.3%. Not being the case with Cows, Fattening Bulls and Oxen, in the productive parameters it was verified that there were deducted losses for milk and meat left to produce for a total of $215,483.25, also ex There were difficulties in genetic improvement and milk and meat production, which were affected by the prevalence of Bovine Papillomatosis in La Unidad la Ceiba in the evaluated period.            La investigación se desarrolló en la Unidad Básica de Producción Cooperativa Waldemar Díaz de la Rosa, Majibacoa, Las Tunas, en la unidad La Ceiba. El objetivo del trabajo fue analizar la prevalencia de la Papilomatosis Bovina, en la unidad La Ceiba durante los meses de enero a septiembre de 2022. Se realizó la caracterización de la unidad y se determinó que estaba siendo afectada por Papilomatosis Bovina, con cuadrante epizootiológico 86-141-23; en el trabajo se utilizaron métodos de investigación de revisión bibliográfica y estadísticos para obtener los datos y realizar la tabulación de la información. En los resultados de la investigación se determinó que solo fueron afectadas las categorías de menor edad (Terneros(as) con un 38,7 %, Añojos(as) 46% %, Toretes 3% y Novillas 12,3%. No siendo así las Vacas, Toros de Ceba y Bueyes, en  los parámetros productivos se comprobó que existieron pérdidas deducidas por leche y carne dejada de producir para un total de 215 483,25$, también existieron dificultades en  la mejora genética y la producción de leche y carne, que se vieron afectadas por la prevalencia de la Papilomatosis bovina en La Unidad la Ceiba en el período evaluado
