External factors such as games and movies were found to have an impact on personality. In this study, the external factor used was a short video with a narrative that had no dialogues. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the type of personality traits that come into play while individuals are brought into the narrative, create a one-sided connection with characters and while individuals reflect on how they perceive themselves to be. The rationale for this was to recognize how external influences have an impact on psychological and social factors which then influence personality, in terms of cognition, behaviour and emotion.
