Transcripts of 42 interviews and one focus group conducted in Athens (2015-2017) with councilors and local authority officials in an attempt to explore the City’s stance towards austerity and collaboration. Interview codes are provided in a separate sheet. In the second folder a summary of the key points of each interview is provided. The respective file names correspond to the original interview transcript, facilitating access to both documents. Austerity governance, defined as a sustained agenda for reducing public spending, poses new challenges for the organisation of relationships between government, business and citizens in many parts of the world.
