PSIKOANALISIS SIGMUND FREUD DALAM TOKOH UTAMA NOVEL MARRYING MR. PERFECT KARYA MILEA

AbstractThe main character is an important part of a story. The depiction of the main character can be related to psychology or the character's personality, because the main character has a strong character and is associated with certain psychological turmoil. The main character in the novel Marrying Mr. Perfect can be studied by using Sigmund Freud's literary psychology approach. The research method used is a qualitative method, with data sources obtained from the novel Marrying Mr. Perfect in the form of words, sentences, and paragraphs. The results of the study there are 6 personality structures id, 6 ego, and 10 superego. Based on these data, the ego is more dominated by the ego of Andre, while the superego is more dominated by Kendra. This shows that Kendra acts based on rational thinking about right and wrong, besides that Kendra's high superego makes him a wise figure in acting. While Andre acts more based on his ego, so that his actions sometimes hurt Kendra without him knowing it. AbstrakTokoh utama merupakan bagian penting dari sebuah cerita. Penggambaran tokoh utama dapat dikaitkan dengan psikologis atau karakter kepribadian tokoh, karena tokoh utama memiliki karakter yang kuat dan berhubungan dengan gejolak psikologis tertentu. Karakter tokoh utama dalam novel Marrying Mr. Perfect dapat dikaji dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra Sigmund Freud. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, dengan sumber data diperoleh dari novel Marrying Mr. Perfect yang berupa kata, kalimat, dan paragraf. Hasil penelitian terdapat 6 struktur kepribadian id, 6 ego, dan 10 superego. Berdasarkan data tersebut ego lebih di dominasi oleh ego dari Andre, sedangkan bagian superego lebih didominasi oleh Kendra. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa Kendra bertindak berdasarkan pemikiran rasional akan benar dan salah, selain itu superego Kendra yang tinggi menjadikan dia sosok yang bijak dalam bertindak. Sedangkan Andre lebih banyak bertindak berdasarkan egonya, sehingga tindakannya terkadang menyakitin Kendra tanpa dia sadari
