The experimental PXRD data of the pristine NbO is showed in Figure S1 and Table S1. The diffraction peaks were indexed assuming Pm-3m space group with unit cell parameter a = b = c = 4.211 Å. The measured intensities in Table S1 were integrated without background.Elemental analysis of the pristine NbO was performed by EDS. Figure S2 is the elemental mapping and EDS results of a pristine NbO crystal. A statistical elemental experiment was performed on 20 different pristine NbO crystals, showed in Table S2. Elemental analysis of both the pristine NbO and fully transformed NbO were measured by EELS, showed in Figure S3-S4.
