PEMBERDAYAAN WAKAF PRODUKTIF SEBAGAI PILAR PENINGKATAN LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN DI YAYASAN SABILUR ROSYAD SIDOARJO

Empowerment of waqf can be done by professional professionals by means of building buildings on waqf land then renting out the building and the results can be used for the benefit of the people. Along with the need for funds for poverty alleviation, development and improvement of institutions, then came the thought to represent with money. Money is more flexible and knows no distribution boundaries. One form of productive endowments is cash endowments usually in the form of cash given by endowments to those entitled to receive it through the hands of amil zakat institutions, donations and alms or it can also be with securities such as checks. The person who receives the Waqf Certificate is a proof that he is a member of the Waqf. After the money or check is received, then the cash is usually used for productive endowments by playing for businesses or establishing institutions as long as it does not reduce the value and content of endowments. This paper seeks to examine the extent of the potential for productive endowments, especially in Indonesia, especially at the Sabilur Rosyad Sidoarjo Foundation. In addition, it is also to obtain a more in-depth study of productive waqf law in the Islamic view and also to get the right formula in optimizing the prospect of waqf, by directed to productive waqf
