Nowadays teaching means taking the time to reflect on the reasons that lead us to deal with it and on the expectations we place in it; it means being continually indignant because it always works differently from the way we would like it. School is abused by majority and market interests, plundered in its aims, punished in its alternative educational proposals. It also means asking ourselves what is the teacher’s role and through which direction can he or she grow. In the end this to discover that he or she is a researcher and an intellectual, to the extent that he or she is endowed with curiosity and a desire to research and know, and to learn what is the role of all the other figures and environments that revolve around the school.1n
