International audienceThe recycling of shards is a practice that was initially recognised in Bronze Age and Neolithic ceramic corpus. Several traceological studies on Neolithic series have been carried out in order to define the traces left by the work of different materials, including unbaked clay. This is notably the case for the Kovačevo corpus, which was the subject of an experimental reference system concerning the traces left by the working of raw clay and leather.
