Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez y las articulaciones entre socialismo y democracia

The article presents the contributions of Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez, considered one of the great exponents of Latin American Marxism, regarding the complex relationship between socialism and democracy. For this, initially his life, work and militancy are presented with the purpose of, on the one hand, presenting the work of the philosopher, and on the other hand, to be able to situate his reflections on the subject. Subsequently, the reflections of Sánchez Vázquez are analyzed from three problematic nuclei: first, the criticisms of real socialism and bourgeois liberal democracy; second, the reflections taken up by Karl Marx on democracy; and third, the reflections of the Spanish-Mexican philosopher himself on the urgent link within the Latin American left of socialism and democracy.El artículo presenta las contribuciones de Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez, considerado uno de los grandes exponentes del marxismo latinoamericano, en torno a la compleja relación entre socialismo y democracia. Para ello, inicialmente se presenta su vida, obra y militancia con el propósito de, por un lado, presentar la obra del filósofo, y por otro lado, para poder situar sus reflexiones sobre el tema. Posteriormente se analizan las reflexiones de Sánchez Vázquez a partir de tres núcleos problemáticos: primero, las críticas al socialismo real y a la democracia liberal burguesa; segundo las reflexiones retomadas de Karl Marx en torno a la democracia; y tercero, las reflexiones del propio filósofo hispano-mexicano sobre la urgente vinculación en el seno de la izquierda latinoamericana de socialismo y democracia
