With more than one billion people directly depending on wetlands globally for their food, fresh water, and other livelihood support systems, it is crucial to conserve them for the benefit of people, climate, and biodiversity. There is a scarcity of information on stakeholder perceptions that affect wetland management, and stakeholders involved.
