Care for a newborn child with giant congenital melanocytic nevus

We describe a newborn child with a giant congenital melanocytic naevus (GCMN). GCMN have a diameter of at least 40 centimeters (projected adult size), can have a very heterogeneous phenotype and are associated with malignant melanoma (MM) and neurocutaneous melanosis (NCM).
