Due to a proposal for a new golf course at Arnold's Farm, Great Shelford in the parish of Stapleford, Cambridgeshire, this study has been commissioned by Savills to determine and assess the known archaeological character of the proposed development area (Figure 1). The purpose of this study is to identify known features, sites, and find-spot, to place the development area within its local historic landscape, and to assess the likely impact of this development on the historic landscape and known individual archaeological features.
