The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between dry dehydration and ped’s form on the same sample. Variation of the ped’s form was observed by scanning electron microscope. As a result of measurement, it was found that dry dehydration is dependent on the ped’s form rather than the state of cracking. But the dry dehydration of Ca-clay depends on a factor other than the ped’s form
