The simple-loop hybrid ring used in the microwave frequency band has the simplest structure among various kinds of hybrid circuits. But its hybrid characteristics are worse than those of other hybrid circuits. Then,there are various methods to expand the bandwidth. By connecting reactance elements with the terminal resistance and considering λ^<-2>terms of the driving immitance of the circuits,the hybrid characteristics are greatly improved in the neighbourhood of the center frequency f_0. Circuits which realize these reactance elements are achieved by the two-wire coupled line
