Oral History Interview with Escolostico Cabrerra

The National Museum of the Pacific War presents an interview with Escolostico Cabrerra. Cabrerra speaks about his family. His father was Vicente Ramirez Tudela, born in Guam around 1881 and moved to Saipan around 1897. His mother was Rita Diaz Borja, born in Saipan. They lived in Palau and his father worked in the phosphate mines during German occupation. He and his family returned to Garapan, Saipan and his father remained working in the mines through the Japanese occupation, then through WWII.
