On the Estimation of the Degree of Wear of Wool Fibres by Means of the Alkali Swelling Treatment

The author tried to estimate conveniently a slight wear, by the use of alkali swelling treatment, of those fibers that had been subjected to mechanical actions during spinning processes. It was confirmed that there could be observed a significant difference at 5% significance level in those fibers in the order of the spinning processes
