We and our graduate students are engaged in some fields of Quantum Electronics in Department of Electronics in Fukui University through 1969. We could first observe stimulated Raman scattering in silicon by use of a Q-switched glass laser. We also made progress in the investigation of foreign gas effects on a CO2 laser. One of us observed photon-counting distributions under periodic intensity modulations. We are now engaged in the measurement of ultrashort optical pulses and in the observation of wavelength-time effect in a DTTC dye laser. Photon correlation method is also under construction in order to measure the temporal coherence in a He-Ne laser
