The novel focusing mirror based on the shifting of the beam phase according to Gaussian optics enabled us to realize a focusing element with different focal length in different derections and to convent gyrotron output into Gaussian-like beam. In this paper, we compare the quality of beams produced by the new system (which includes the novel focusing mirrors) and conventional system having a quasi-optical antenna, an ellipsoidal mirror and two parabolic mirrors
