Sustainable Development of Cultural-Heritage Tourism Planning with Issues and Challenges

In recent years, heritage tourism in India has grown exponentially, serving as both a major draw for tourists from abroad and an important marketing tool for drawing in more affluent tourists who have a particular fondness for the country's rich cultural history and art. International tourists, NRIs, and residents of other countries are all interested in heritage tourism as an alternate mode of travel. Indian ethnic diversity has resulted in a diverse range of local knowledge disciplines, from architecture to handicrafts to traditional dress to music and dance, all of which reflect the country's rich cultural past. In India, tourist managers, stakeholders, governments, cultural heritage managers, and the people who live there often disagree. To maximize the value of the cultural heritage tourist business in India and to maintain, conserve, and preserve its resources and assets, a system of management must be developed that takes into account all concerns and impediments.
