Análisis del efecto económico inicial de la pandemia en el sector gastronómico del peñón en la ciudad de Cali

El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad el realizar un estudio en el sector gastronómico del peñón de la ciudad de Cali, el estudio se realizó tomando como referencia 13 restaurantes del sector anteriormente mencionado y tiene como objetivo general, analizar el efecto económico inicial de la pandemia en el sector gastronómico del peñón de la ciudad de Cali. Los análisis realizados se fundamentan en las diversas estrategias que el sector se vio obligado a implementar para continuar en funcionamiento, esto debido a las diferentes medidas restrictivas impuestas por el gobierno nacional para mitigar el contagio general de la enfermedad. Se realiza una investigación iniciando con la descripción del sector gastronómico antes de la pandemia. con un trabajo de campo que anexa un enfoque mixto, tanto de características cualitativas como cuantitativas, lo cual permite visualizar la gran pérdida de empleo en este sector, la reducción del más del 40% de las ventas y la importancia que tomaron los medios virtuales y la tecnología para poder sostener los establecimientos.The purpose of this work is to carry out a study in the gastronomic sector of El Peñón in the city of Cali, the study was carried out taking as reference 13 restaurants of the aforementioned sector and its general objective is to analyze the initial economic effect of the pandemic in the gastronomic sector of El Peñón in the city of Cali. The analysis is based on the various strategies that the sector was forced to implement to continue operating, due to the various restrictive measures imposed by the national government to mitigate the general spread of the disease.
