Czech language teaching materials for pupils with hearing impairment and Czech language teaching materials for pupils of the second level of primary school (Fraus publishing house)

The bachelor thesis is focused on evaluation, particularly of printed educational materials, for teaching the Czech language - grammar textbooks on the lower secondary school level, intended for pupils with hearing impairment and for pupils of the mainstream education. The theoretical part contains enumeration and characteristic of particular types of educational materials; and also the factors that influence their selection. Based on the study of professional literature, it observes the development and specifics of educational materials of the Czech language for students with hearing impairment. The thesis further summarizes general knowledge related to the education of deaf pupils and briefly describes the acquisition and teaching of the Czech language in these pupils. In addition, the theoretical part includes a list of Czech publishers that publish teaching materials of the Czech language for pupils with hearing impairment, and a summary of publishers publishing teaching materials of the Czech language intended for pupils in the mainstream education. The objective of the practical part represents an evaluation of educational materials on the basis of our own research.
