The genome sequence of the July highflyer, Hydriomena furcata (Thunberg, 1784)

We present a genome assembly from an individual male Hydriomena furcata (the July Highflyer; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The genome sequence is 423.3 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 28 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.89 kilobases in length.
