Human gait analysis is a standard laboratory procedure utilized in many clinical facilities for the evaluation and rehabilitation of people with gait dysfunction or disorders of movement. However, gait analysis remains a subjective visual examination process in most of clinical practices. Indeed, contemporary commercially available solutions for gait analysis do not meet the needs of clinical professionals who have limited access to expensive equipment or time for data collection and analysis.
