Iowa Boundary Commission Final Report, January 1993

The Iowa Boundary Commission is established in section 2.91 of the Iowa Code. The Commission is authorized to meet with appropriate representatives of affected states, agencies of those states and Iowa, and agencies of the United States to discuss Iowa's boundaries and to make periodic reports and recommendations to the General Assembly. The Commission met with Mr. Leroy Kadel, President, and Mr. Tom Bruegger, Secretary, of the Missouri River Preservation and Land Use Authority. This meeting was required by Iowa Code section 108B.2, subsection 3. Mr. Kadel and Mr. Bruegger informed the Commission of the Authority's activities. The Authority's application to the National Park Service for completion of a "corridor study" of lands bordering the Missouri River was reviewed and it was noted that at the time of the meeting, the study had not been approved
