This dataset is supporting the University of Southampton Doctoral thesis "Improving cochlear implant listening using vibrotactile stimulation". This dataset contains two Excel files: Experiment_1.xlsx Experiment_2.xlsx Experiment_1.xlsx contains the data presented in Chapter 4. The "All_Data" sheet contains speech reception thresholds (SRT) for each participant, including training and testing sessions, across all conditions. It also includes the condition order. The "Demographics" sheet includes demographic details like age, handedness, gender, and vibrotactile thresholds at the index fingers (right and left) tested at 125 Hz and 31.5 Hz.
