The Role of the Sidoarjo Regency Manpower Service in Determining Regency/City Minimum Wages (UMK): Peran Dinas Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Sidoarjo dalam Penetapan Upah Minimum Kabupaten/Kota (UMK)

The Sidoarjo Regency Manpower Office has a role to regulate labor affairs. This research aims to analyze and describe phenomena related to the role of the Sidoarjo Regency Manpower Office in determining the Regency / City Minimum Wage (UMK). This researcher is located at the Sidoarjo Regency Manpower Office. Qualitative research researchers are directly involved to understand in depth the circumstances and settings of natural phenomena according to the context of the topic The approach used in this research is qualitative. This qualitative research uses purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses interactive Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results showed that the role of the Sidoarjo Regency Manpower Office was quite good in determining the minimum wage (UMK)
