Description of Preoperative Anxiety in Adult Tooth Extraction Patients in Adult Female Patients at Dr. NY Ade’s Practice: Gambaran Kecemasan Pra Tindakan Ekstrasi Gigi Dewasa pada Pasien Wanita Dewasa di Praktik Drg. Ny Ade

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of adult female patients experiencing anxiety when undergoing adult tooth extraction procedures at Dr. Ny Ade's dental practice. The purpose of this study is to describe how adult female patients experience anxiety when undergoing adult tooth extraction procedures and to identify the factors that influence this anxiety. This research adopts a qualitative phenomenological research method, with a sample of 2 female subjects scheduled for adult tooth extraction. The sampling technique employed in this study is purposive sampling, where subjects are selected based on specific criteria. Data collection is conducted through interviews. The findings of the research indicate that both subjects share the same anxiety, which includes fear upon seeing dental instruments, as well as nervousness and uneasiness before the tooth extraction procedure
