Implementation of Religious Culture in the Cultivation of Adab Students: Implementasi Budaya Religius dalam Penanaman Adab Siswa

The role of religious culture in instilling good manners (adab) in students at SMK YPM 8 SIDOARJO is crucial in understanding how schools and religious culture can contribute to shaping students' characters. This qualitative research aims to explore the role of religious culture in the formation of students' adab at SMK YPM 8 SIDOARJO. The research findings indicate that the school's religious culture here incorporates values such as smiles, greetings, politeness, and courtesy (the 5S), memorization, communal prayers, and the Dhuhr prayer performed daily. The cultivation of students' adab occurs through habituation and exemplary behavior, resulting in the development of values such as discipline, kindness, religiosity, tolerance, and responsibility. This research underscores the vital role of religious culture in shaping students' characters within the school and offers valuable insights for other educational institutions seeking to enhance their cultural influence on the moral and behavioral development of students
