Analysis of Optimization of Raw Material Inventory Control Using the Linear Programming Method: Analisis Optimalisasi Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku Menggunakan Metode Linear Programming

This research aims to optimize the stock of raw materials used to meet production demands optimally so that there is no shortage or excess of raw materials. The method applied to solve inventory stock optimization problems is the Linear Programming method. Obtained from calculations using the Linear Programming method, we can determine the optimum value of raw material stock to meet production demand. The results of the research obtained calculations using linear programming to optimize raw material supplies by reducing inventory stock to 169,062 kg from previous orders with a composition for cement raw materials of 181,143 kg, stone ash of 151,202, Foam Agent of 151,204, and sand of 181,143. The results of this calculation can be used in the next ordering period as a consideration in procuring optimum raw material stock
