Dyslipidemias are disorders of lipoprotein metabolism that result in abnormalities such as high total cholesterol, high LDL cholesterol, and low C-HDL. Dyslipidemia is an established risk factor for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, and correction of dyslipidemia reduces the risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. The objective of the research is to evaluate dyslipidemia associated with atherosclerosis in adult patients aged 40 to 60 years.
