The purpose of this investigative work was to analyze school and family coexistence throughmutual respect in children between 4 and 5 years of age from the Atahualpa Educational Unitin the Pedernales canton, Manabí province in Ecuador. The applied methodologycorresponds to the mixed approach or socio-critical paradigm, under an ethnographic designwith a descriptive scope by taking a documentary analysis as a starting point. A survey wasapplied as an instrument to teachers and parents, likewise an observation guide was preparedfor the children who were part of the sample.
