Our transportation system is made up of many parts: roadways, buses, trains, ships, airports, bike and pedestrian paths, park-and-rides, etc. The Integrated Transportation Management System (ITMS) looks at transportation as a whole and uses modern technologies to blend many different types of transportation services into a seamless, integrated Transportation System. Input from commuters, freight movement providers, the tourism industry, other transportation related agencies and DelDOT staff was used in developing Delaware\u2019s ITMS strategy
