This advisory circular describes standards for the design, installation, and maintenance of economy approach lighting aids, i.e., medium intensity approach light system with sequenced flashing lights (HALS/SF), runway end identifier light system (REILS)t and abbreviated visual approach slope indicator system (AVASI)
