International audienceVarious excavations and trenches that were carried out in the city of Valence (Drôme) offer new evidences of bone working from the second hand of 1st Century BC to the second hand of the 4th Century AD. The link between craftsmen and their raw materials supply, in connexion with butchers’ work, is discussed thanks to archaeozoological analysis.
