During the 17th century, period of intense construction, we can observe the development or the redevelopment of plenty of French villages. The religion war havocs' lead the people who are in power to conduct a big policy for reconstruction. The Dauphiné is really marked by these disorders and restoring the villages becomes an obligation. In this situation, l'Albenc experiences some modifications/changes. Between the 17th and the 19th century, the village grows and new houses appear in the lowlands around the village. All these changes can be seen studying the patchy of 1701 and the Napoleonic cadastre plan created in 1838.
