International audienceRecent excavations in the Northern area of the archaeological site of Kition-Bamboula led tothe discovery of an altogether remarkable well. The well is noteworthy, because it is equipped with awater lifting wheel and illustrates a type, which was until now only attested in Cyprus in more recentcontexts. Secondly, the remains of three newborn dead were found in the well, with associated artefactsand alongside various debris.
