Figures d'al-Ḥasan Ibn Hāni', dit Abū Nuwās, dans le Kitāb Aḫbār Abī Nuwās d'Ibn Manẓūr

International audienceFinished on November 2008, this article is devoted to Ibn Manẓūr's Aḫbār Abī Nuwās and to the methods according to which it shaped the famous muḥdaṯ poet into a complex literary image. For this purpose, I shall first consider the relations of Ibn Manẓūr's book to the homonymous work of Abū Hiffān al-Mihzamī and to the monumental Kitāb al-Aġānī. Then, I'll point out the shifts by which the man al-Ḥasan Ibn Hāni' turned into a legendary hero and became the parangon of brilliant libertine poet. For that purpose, I'll go through the following themes : The poet's identity, his familial ties, his relations with the Abbassid caliphs and with women. At last some trails to explore will be signalled and two particularly original narratives told by Ibn Manẓūr shortly presented.Achevé en novembre 2008, cet article est consacré à la présentation de l'ouvrage d'Ibn Manẓūr, Aḫbār Abī Nuwās, et à l'image littéraire complexe qu'il forge du célèbre poète muḥdaṯ. Seront examinées les relations de l'ouvrage d'Ibn Manẓūr avec celui homonyme d'Abū Hiffān al-Mihzamī, et avec le monumental Kitāb al-Aġānī ; puis, les glissements par lesquels l'homme al-Ḥasan Ibn Hāni' se mue en héros légendaire pour devenir le parangon du poète génial et débauché, à travers l'étude de quelques thèmes, dont : l'identité du poète, ses liens familiaux, ses relations avec les califes abbassides et avec les femmes. Enfin, quelques pistes à explorer seront signalées et deux récits particulièrement originaux que rapporte Ibn Manẓūr, rapidement présentés
