This paper is a follow-up study to previous research conducted in the field of Selective Catalytic Reduction systems. The objective of this particular study is to identify a suitable injection location for urea water solution within a chosen geometry, matching the distribution commonly used in these systems. Numerical simulations using ANSYS Fluent software were conducted, utilizing an evaporation model that had been fine-tuned based on experimental data. The droplet size injected from the nozzle was also determined from experimental data. The boundary condition applied to the walls was the “Wall-Jet” model, chosen as a compromise for time efficiency.
