In this article we propose to study the psychic processes of the therapist during the period of forming a group in the context of a psychoanalytic “support group” (groupe de parole) conducted in a service of ergo-sociotherapy with adult psychotic patients. The aim is to show that the initial stages of a therapeutic group have the effect of modifying the texture of the psychic envelopes of the clinician, which will tend towards greater porosity. After defining what we mean by the “porosity of psychic envelopes”, we will show how we envisage the psychic position of the therapist in the group situation ; we will then return to the first two sessions of the psychoanalytic “support group”.
