This article brings together three research projects between geography, sociology and anthropology. They deal with practices that bring together human beings (farmers, mountain sports enthusiasts, wildlife observers) and non-human beings (animals, forests, mountains). From a reflexive approach, the authors question the way in which their involvement with existing people has reconfigured their research on the methodological and epistemological levels. Then, in the perspective of this collaborative work, through the prism of a semiotic reading of a photographic corpus, Their common goal is to giving an account of the spatialities and the indexical corporalities of the dynamics of placements.
