This article aims to describe the image of Gabriela Mistral's life and works. She has been the first Latin American women who gained the Nobel prize in 1945 for her poetic works. This article covers the research carried out by the author on site, in Chile, from the 15/11/2021 to the 15/01/2022. The result of this research comes from the resources of the archive of national library of Chile, located in Santiago where the author had the opportunity to see the full collection of the original manuscript and article written by Gabriela Mistral. Moreover, the resources of the digital database have been used as references in order to support the work of literature revision, in a critical-interpretative key.
