Environmental Communications Internship at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

In the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to work as the Environmental Communications Intern at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, Maine. This nonprofit organization is an extremely popular New England attraction whose mission is to “inspire meaningful connections among people, plants and nature through horticulture, education and research.” My role was to design and implement a brand-new, dialogue-based approach to live interpretation and education about climate change that guests would have the opportunity to engage with while visiting the Gardens
