How to Grasp and Teach the Basic Techniques for Singing at the Teachers College

The purpose of this paper was to clarify how to grasp and teach the basic techniques for singing at the teachers college. The hypothesis I made was that the basic techniques for singing should be taught with emphasis on the understanding of the relationships between the form and content of music effectively. For the purpose, I developed the methods based on that hypothesis and experimented them in the vocal classes of Osaka Kyoiku University, resulting in considerable success
