On the forms of Special Education and its Problem -Segregation and Integration-

In generally, there are two froms in the special education ; the one is special school, the other special class. But we must not forgest a special treatment of the exceptional in the ordinary class. Special education has taken historically the direction of segregation from the ordinary school and class. This segregation is apt to separate the exceptional from the general social life and their friends. Opposite this, the integration means the education of the exceptional in the ordinary school nad chass. I think that these two directions must have an interrelation in the special education
