The main purpose of this study is to find out factorial determinants of cyltural pattern in Japan. This report is the first step of our factorial study. According to R.B. Cattell's suggestive method, the important and basic datas covering fields of culture and economy of Japan were gathered Statistical Yearbooks. These were 44 items by 46 prefectures. (Population, Households, Live-birth, Deaths, Persons engaged. Frarm households, Electric power consumed, Gass supply, Telephone. Radio, Income, Tax, etc.,) All raw datas were changed to standard scores and denoted in tables.
