In this paper, we shall discuss how and why to teach the use of the programmable calcultor in school mathematics with the view of the computer education for the future. The way to teach this material should be as follows: To make the students: (1) push the unknown key under instructions from the teacher. (2) consider the function of the key, and hypothesize. (3) verify if the hypothesis is true or not by experiment.
